Regency Bonnet
No well-dressed lady would venture outdoors without something on her head. The bonnet, with its wide brim and ribbon ties, was one fashionable choice. Bonnet trimmings included flowers, feathers, and even fruit. In this workshop, you will learn how to convert a modern straw hat into a passable bonnet. You will then choose embellishments from an assortment of ribbons and trims. Dr. Wass will share her collection of fashion plates for inspiration.
