Needle Point
Needlepoint was used during the Regency Period and beyond to cover furniture, fire screens, rugs, and other household items that required a heavy and durable surface.
This class will give stitchers a chance to examine the tools used in needlepoint and begin work on a basic design. Materials will e provided.

Gary Sligh has been stitching for over fifty years, and currently operates a shop in downtown Leesburg, Florida where he celebrates the work of handmade crafts. His shop, Gary Lee Sligh Fabric Arts, is located at 1012 West Main Street in Leesburg.
