Journaling Workshop
Letters to the Self: Journal writing can be a form of record keeping for tracking life experiences, and a place to reflect on events in order to make sense of them. This workshop guides participants through a couple of writing prompts used for keeping track of daily experiences and processing thoughts. Try out a couple of journaling techniques and learn how to develop a sustained journaling practice.

Pamela Baker (she/her) is a prose writer living in Central Florida. Her essays and stories have appeared in many journals, including River Styx (nominated for the Pushcart Prize), The Louisville Review, Story Magazine, Reed Magazine, The Southeast Review, Cream City Review, and the Creative Nonfiction anthology, I Wasn’t Strong Like This When I Started Out: True Stories of Becoming a Nurse. She works in the Department Writing and Rhetoric at the University of Central Florida, teaching courses in composition, the essay genre, and writing about health and medicine.
