Dulcimer Concert

The history of the dulcimer is speculative. It is believed that the instrument evolved as it was easier to make and less expensive than the violin. The earliest dulcimer dates back to 1700 to mid-1800s (Regency era). It has been traced back to Ireland, Scotland, Northern England, Sweden, Norway, Germany, and France.
