Join Kim Wilson for a hands-on historical craft workshop inspired by Jane Austen’s own jewelry. You’ll create a beautiful single-strand bracelet with turquoise-blue, gold, and pearl glass seed beads that echo the colors of Austen’s personal piece. Learn traditional Regency-era bead weaving techniques while crafting a unique bracelet to take home and enjoy. All materials are provided, including embroidery scissors, beading mat, bead tray, ruler, needles, thread, beads, and a gold-plated clasp.

Kim Wilson is an award-winning author and speaker specializing in Jane Austen, English history, food history, and garden history. She has written several popular books, including Tea with Jane Austen, In the Garden with Jane Austen, and At Home with Jane Austen. Known for her entertaining and informative presentations, Kim has been a traveling lecturer for the Jane Austen Society of North America and a featured lecturer and keynote speaker for organizations such as the Royal Oak Foundation (the American partner of the National Trust of England, Wales and Northern Ireland), Road Scholar, the Chawton House Garden Festival, and the Jane Austen Summer Program.

Kim is currently having fun testing historical party recipes—think generous amounts of butter, sugar, and cream—for her upcoming books, Entertaining Mr. Darcy and Celebrating Jane Austen’s Birthday, part of the Celebrating the Year with Jane Austen series. In addition, she is preparing to launch RosyPast.com, a new website offering historical lifestyle books, articles, and tutorials on historical cooking and crafting.
