We are excitedly completing plans for our 2nd annual Jane Austen Fest here in Mount Dora February 11, 12, & 13, 2022.  As you know we, sadly, had to cancel last year due to the Covid Virus. But we are up and running with our Jane Austen Love Fest - for lovers of Jane Austen and just plain lovers!

We awarded our first scholarship to Jesse Dickens- the reason for the Fest - this past winter.  We are hopeful that she will be our guest this year - after all, you were the ones that made it possible by your attendance at our first Fest. And we will continue to award a scholarship each year to a deserving woman.

Our workshops this time will be: Quilling - beginning and intermediate, Bonnet and Turban making, Lawn Bowling, Regency Dancing, An 1815 London Fashion Album, and Stained Glass. Sign up for them on the website.

Betsy Bashore is coming back to share her Regency Style Show and give a talk on Regency wardrobes.Dr. Kathryn Libin of Vassar College is going to share her Regency music expertise. Candice Hern is going to share what a woman carried in her reticule and Ann Wass is talking about shopping with Jane Austen.  Our keynote speaker will be announced soon.

Congratulations!
